My favourites are Nos. 2 and 4. I like the crystal bowl(?) in 2; gives new meaning to rose window! And I like the colour in 4. Don't really think I can see you in any meaningful way! In todays electronic, video game age, one can't really wonder at the loss of traditional hobbies.
I really like this - the images and the words together - the old time recognisable changed to the cutting edge - stunning as it is - who knows what it could become next..
Fun. Love them.
ReplyDeletePretty cool.
ReplyDeleteYes very cool :)
ReplyDeleteI like the way each photo changes the shape and colour of the rose. All the old hobbies which i grew up with have all disappeared which is sad really.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I think I see you!

ReplyDeleteThanks. Yes, that's exactly what they're meant to be.

Hi, Welcome to the blog and thanks for the comment.

Much thanks for that.

I started with the intention of sticking to abstracts, but once I had let the rose in it sort of took over!
Karen
Thanks - I find it very difficult to keep me out!

Looks like you enjoyed taking the photos, and your being present in the photo makes you that much more a part of it.
ReplyDeleteVery Cool stuff Dave! I really enjoyed getting lost in them.
ReplyDeleteCS
Yes I read that about hobbies Dave - sad isn't it.

ReplyDeleteThanks for all that Derrick. The supposed photographer (not me) appears (just the right hand side of her face) left side of the top image.
