Bubble and Squeak

"Haiku" #321

They take them with them
their favourite coffin things -
mobile phones and wine

Heard from two small(ish) boys playing soldiers in the snow:-

1st boy : I've bombed your secret camp.

2nd boy : You couldn't 'ave, you don't know where it is.

1st boy : I do so, it was on Wicked Leaks!

Snow turning crimson
has buried the maple leaves
is stained by their blood

  5. I don't browse blogs as often as I would like but am always glad to catch up on yours. I'm not sure why I think this because I've liked you Haiku from the beginning. But I think you are definitely getting better.

  6. Wilki leaks is nothing more than gossip by people that have nothing else better to do with their time. Kids do say the darnest things.

Now that's the sort of thing I most like to hear. Thanks.

Having read some of the latest, I'm inclined to agree. The really telling stuff is buried.

Thanks, though I had thought the filling took the prize rather than the slices of bread...
