Haiku #116

How many will watch
the great debate that none can win
hoping for a loser?

  1. Get me a front row seat, Dave! I don't want to see anyone lose; some intelligent debate might be nice.

  3. It will probably be the usual kind of debate with enough hot air to float a temporary balloon.

Thanks for your replies - and a special mention for the two haiku. I enjoyed them all.

I did watch it - it had something of the character of a repeat, Friko, or so I thought. Overall, though, I think there were just too many rules. It was more like an amateur boxing match than a blood sport.
