Thanks everyone I did wonder whet you all would find to say about this one - and yes, Frances, I did find it patronising in the extreme, but it was reported as a piece of science, not mere opinion.
These three new haiku are very effective I think because the references are not famous. They therefore reach out to the surrounding culture in a slightly perplexing yet true way, startlingly and deceptively simple. The discussions that follow are quite important for full understanding.
From deep in the South ... (on the road) ... loved these last three haiku creations!
