From MAGPIE TALES a Puzzle...

(Do have a look at Magpie Tales.)

A skeleton
of something like
a mini-whale
(minutum-
dwarfadon
to such as us)
that NASA found
(or so they said)
full many a mile
below the ground
in thermal ducts.

The whole thing sucks.
My grandma had
a score of these
(given her
by Thick Lips Fred
for spending so
much time in bed)
each with diamonds
in a cluster -
It is of course,
a knuckle-duster.

  4. At first glance I thought you had written knuckle-buster ... which it could be as well!

  9. Each scenario as surreal as the other; perfect for that darn object.

  10. Of course it is! Now I can see nothing else in its curlicues. Art as a deadly weapon. Thanks for the heads-up on this one, Dave!

Well, yes, but I'm in my second childhood, so pillow fights are more my mark now.

Mmm, thanks Derrick, but it is strange: the best solutions seem to come when I begin by being completly stumped.
