Haiku #65

On St David's Day
remember his words: recall
the small things in life.

Don't quite know what happened to this one - it was for yesterday. Maybe St David held it up, thought it more appropriate today!

I had nothing to do with the tardiness.

Now I have a heart for St David! My favorite nephew is a David. I like your haiku "recall the small things in life". Yes indeed. All the small things make up the whole of life. The huge things come around once in awhile. I don't want to be waiting for the huge things to life life to the fullest.

I would be truly honored if you gave your poetic advice on my blogs of poetry and follow them.

Hi Dave,

Happy St. David's Day! Good to see all the Haiku; your own contribution to life's small things.

Good things come in little parcels, Dave - and mighty oaks grow from little acorns. Happy St David's Day- your namesake and the namesake of the farmer too.

Late is something relative to only linear time. Haiku often exists beyond that line.
