It's that time again! The Royal College of Art's Annual Exhibition and their money raisng initiative "Secret", in which they sell postcard works or original art for £45 each. They have almost 3000 for sale and nearly half of them are by established artists, many by high profile ones, Tracey Emin and the like. The rest are the works of students - potential high profile artists of the future? The "established" artists often play games with buyers, copying each others' styles.
So popular has this become that would-be purchasers camp out overnight - not so much sinc the RCA began selling queue places.

LOL for the Haiku.
And the art world; i have mixed feelings about it. Very much so.
Have these people got rocks in their heads or more money than they know what to do with paying 45pounds for a postcard.
Thanks both
I think those who buy are confident of their ability to choose well. One of these postcards was sold recently at auction for £45,000.
