Haiku #53 and #54


Spinner dolphins twist in air
sometimes just for fun
sometimes removing ticks.


That was news to me.
My haiku was part fun
part cure for writers' block - and tics.

No, that was the bit that was news to me. I can't imagine them somehow with ticks.

enjoyment or necessity- tough call sometimes- like when my son saw dogs doing a funny dance together...the bunny hop, I told him...
Dolphins and ticks just don't go together do they?

The first image that popped into my mind was a beautiful dolphin afflicted with nervous ticks ... twirling and twisting to rid himself of them.
