Dave - How do you feel when the comments stop being about your haiku so much as about the topic you wrote about in your haiku? A real compliment that the idea's delivery mechanism has become transparent... Just for the record these haiku are tough to get right and that you do them daily and keep them topical and oft whimsical.... Kudos
All Thanks again, everyone. Agreed, jinksy. Not sure I get the tea reference... Many thanks for your second observation, Carl. Good point. Not sure which I prefer, donkeys or howling monkeys. Yup, cute and cuddly does it for me! Any time, Kass. They be hiding beneath you cocktail cabinet m'dear. Take your point Helen , elephants don't preen a lot - do they? Good thinking Ronda Memorable, I think!

Elephants get everywhere...
Over here, they're dumping tea right now.
Actual issues get discussed in a debate. Nonsense. There are cheap shots to be taken and grandstanding to be done.

And donkeys of course. Although I tend to think they are all howling monkeys.
Hi Dave,
Which creature do you think might hold everone's attention? Something cute and cuddly perhaps.

Elephants- I don't see elephants...what elephants...
Makes me proud to be a registered independent! Elephants ... donkeys ... it's all posturing and preening most of the time.
Heading out to buy a barrel of peanuts for the show.
Um... I don't know.
Aren't actual elephants supposed to be incredibly intelligent?
