nice dave - i love the soccer and wonder at the disparity. same for the olympics. same for all the major sporting events when you move a handful of blocks from the venue. what do you see?! steven

Thanks to every one for some interesting responses. No real surprises, though. Wonder why, when everyone seems agreed about an issue, we still can't agree to get on and do something about it? Is it perhaps because we agree even more about other issues - which may be gainsaying the first agreement?

I think Africa sees it very much as a prize, and for their sake I hope it proves to be one.
