It had to happen eventually, I suppose. There was always going to come the day when I would miss out on a Haiku, but I had wanted to get at least to #200 before that day arrived. I thought I had two scheduled to appear, but , mysteriously, it seems I was mistaken. Sorry folks!

That's where I've been going wrong, Dave. Don't know Latin!

You're obviously in Haiku mode too this morning, Jinksy!

I think we can give you a free pass. Just double up tomorrow.

Derrick - haiku mode is inbuilt in my genes, I think! ( Sorry for using your blog as a chat room Dave! LOL ) :)

Latin classes way back when have indeed helped all these years seeing root words.

Both yours and Jinksy are a hoot, Dave! And I'm still impressed with your output.

Ahhh, so latin is what I am missing. This is good to know!

Oh, what the heck. I'll pretend I can't count that high. Carry on.

Thanks folk, one and all.
I too know no latin, so that's me done for, too. Apparently it inspires mathematicians and writers equally. As to my missing the haiku, not blogger's fault this time, i fear. Mea Culpa... the fault dear Brutus...
See what I can do to make amends - and please, jinksy, you may chat whenever yo like on my blog!
