I can't know that. With so many people in need, throwing away that much money hurts to know.
What with paying to shut down those wind farms and those expensive bottles of champagne going to waste, one has to wonder about the wisdom of man.

Your sentiments very much reflect mine.
For those who missed it, this was a party attended by Gazza's daughter - which, presumably is why it made the news - where the guests were expected to buy the champaigne, but not drink it, just spray it.
