Two Haiku

Timed to perfection
let Easter come when it will -
the tree peony.

After grass cutting
cuttings hang like Christmas chains
from the spiders' silks

Great picture. I am hoping we will be able to grow some pretty things here and still have the critters to watch. Where we lived previously the critters there ate everything we planted. Ha.

I particularly like your second haiku. I can see the grass chains now.

Never even thought about it but have seen grass clippings hanging like decorations on spider webs. Neat post.

One of the critters of whom you speak demolished the tree peony during the night!
Best of luck with yours.
