HA HA so right! Religion, such a strange invention, what baffles me most is that in this age of information some still cling to it, stupifying! Happy Easter anyway, eat a marshmallow egg!
Sad and true Dave, I agree with the other comments. Haikus, I feel, must also capture the hard layer of the present. Even if, as far as religion is concerned, the past was even worse! As I am reading in the novel "Will" in which Shakespeare speaks about his life and times and that very love-and-kindness practise of disembowelling reserved for the enemies of religion.
Just popping back (late) to respond to your question. I wasn't actually thinking whether Williams should/not apologise. He's entitled to a view but the Anglican church has enough of its own problems without pointing the finger.

Hope split like atoms

It all seems so sad.
How true Dave and how sad that it is so true - Happy Easter
Hi Dave,
Happy Easter to you.
Rowan Williams has apologised now - so all is well with the world!

Thanks everyone, there was more un
unanimity on this one than I had expected.
Hope you all had - are having - a great Easter break.

I'm not sure he should have apologised - or is that what you meant?
Tommaso
I had "Will" down as my next read. I'm not sure you haven't put me off!
