Watercolour : Wisley Gardens

A bit of an experiment, this one. A view of the Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley. Watercolour.

How nice to see a pic to go with the poems. I love Wisley Gardens and this captures them well. I love the one-stroke (almost) trees.

Lovely painting beautiful colors and shading!

The simplicity of your painting captures the essence of a formal garden.

It reminds me rather of Chinese paintings Dave but I just can't put my finger on why. Like it very much though.

Oh so lovely .... I would have this repeated over and over in a fabric print .. somewhere in my home!

Money off = porn is hysterical!

Wishing you a speedy recovery from cataract surgery, Dave.

WOW this is my most favorite in the universe! I think I might try to copy it in my own feeble manner...Good luck today with the surgery- kind of creepy isn't it...so close to the brain, so close to where you LIVE! You will be fine- better than new but it is unsettling...Thinking of you today!

Lots of energy in this one, Dave.

Once you've seen one porn movie you've them all, nothing new to offer oh! so boring. Give me a good blood thirsty horror movie anytime. Best of luck with your cataract operation and speedy recovery.

A warm welcome to you. Thanks for visiting and for commenting. Good to have you aboard. I shall do my best re the pictures, but have a few problems in that area these days - mostly to do with eyes and limbs.

Carl
Thanks Carl. Much appreciated

It was something of an experiment, but I thought it might have possibilities.

Weaver
Thanks. I hadn't thought "Chinese", but now that you've said it, you've got me thinking that way. (I can't put my finger on it either.)

Helen
What a great idea. I can see that may have possibilities.

On the strength of brain scans they have decided that the brain reacts in exactly the same way to money-off promotions as to, say, a porn film. (A sort of 'let me get at it' reaction, would you think?)

Linda Sue
My turn to say Wow! Hadn't expected a reaction like that. I grant you full copying rights.
The surgery went fine, thanks, now the brain has to catch up. Its been repressing the rubbish image for so long, I think it's forgotten about binocular vision. The world's looking fine in 3-D at the moment, because I'm stationary, but when I move...!

Conda
That's why I'm lacking it! I wondered where it had gone. Thanks Conda.

Windsmoke
I agree. Absolutely. Thanks for the good wishes - see Linda Sue above.

Jeanne
A very small bit, I'm thinking. Thanks, though.

Why do I expect to see Alice in Wonderland to peeking round one of your the bushes at any moment?! :)

Ah, well, she should have been, Jinksy, but I got there too late. Just missed her.

Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated.
