Lovely smile this morning, Dave.

I loved the one about the thieves who stole lead from a church roof during the first bout of snow about a month ago. Police followed the footprints straight to their residence, found them and the stolen lead. Makes you glad to be alive sometimes.

What a legacy of haiku you are building up! Someday, collected, they will make a huge fat book. Or a small flash drive.

Yes, good one! One I enjoyed recently was that of the guy who broke in and stole a computer. In doing so, he dropped his mobile phone. Not realising where he'd lost it, he used the computer to contact the local police station and give its details, saying if anyone handed it in they would know whose it was. At that precise moment the police were retrieving it from the scene of crime.

Or a flash book or a fat drive! Thanks.
