Love it!
Am still laughing at the thought of your dear grandchildren and the salt - aren't they kind and thoughtful? We need something to make us laugh in this miserable weather - although at present, I have to say the sun is shining and the landscape is beautiful. Think I must be getting old though, as I no longer love the snow.

'Barbie dolls' are soulless and I think we have reached such a stage in civilisation. The illustration captures the thought.

Ha!

I have to agree with Weaver about not liking the snow so much as I get older - hope that's not another form of encroaching soullessness!

Thanks each

Dear Dave, thank you very much for your comments on my latest posts.
I will read Your latest at home when I have more time and I'll be with my PC.
I look forward to that!

I find this haiku, especially connected with the image above, somewhat science fiction-like. It scares me, but then again, all excessive searching at airports scares me.

Love it! I like the photo as a combo...a man of few and powerful words here. Thanks for the smile at this bit of life

Carl - a genuine Haiku. Superb. Thanks.
I appreciate Elisabeth's allusion to sci-fi.
Thanks all for your encouragement.

So many of us started with Haiku early in grade school, learning to love the wordplay and sound.

And yet, we never seem to outgrow the fun and fascination of it, do we? Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Dave, perhaps it is a dead ringer for the Emperor's new clothes?
