Haiku #53 and #54

Spinner dolphins twist in air
sometimes just for fun
sometimes removing ticks.

That was news to me.
My haiku was part fun
part cure for writers' block - and tics.

I didn't know that dolphins had ticks. But I like the image.

No, that was the bit that was news to me. I can't imagine them somehow with ticks.

Dolphins show us how
to remove nervous tics and
pesky writer's block.

(can't really imagine you with writer's block, Dave)

enjoyment or necessity- tough call sometimes- like when my son saw dogs doing a funny dance together...the bunny hop, I told him...
Dolphins and ticks just don't go together do they?

The first image that popped into my mind was a beautiful dolphin afflicted with nervous ticks ... twirling and twisting to rid himself of them.

Yeah, it gets me in to trouble sometimes!

You'd think not, certain ly. Is nowhere safe?

Drop the word "beautiful", and that could be you're talking about!

Thanks Ronda.

Sometimes "sometimes" is enough...
