I really enjoyed your Clevedon Pier post ... full of interesting information - and yes, it is truly elegant!2012 -- can you even imagine London during the Olympics? I attended the 1984 Games in Los Angeles ... madness, extreme excitement and a 'once in a lifetime' feeling!
Are you advising the London cab drivers to polish up their language skills . . . or is "London cab driver" a language of its own?
They'll have had that Boris in the back of their cab before you know it.
Most cab drivers get lost in their own country. The mind boggles as to how they will go in another country with different languages.
Thanks AllYes, I realised after posting that there was a certain ambiguity...No, they've all been "supplied with courses in.." and then followed, very quickly, a list of the languages. I wasn't quick enough to count or remember them all. I did a rapi search, but so far haven't turned up any more precise info'.
£20 is £20 in any language, mate!
