Haiku #51

Unlicenced police drone
used to capture suspects
a criminal offence.

Time perhaps for my disclaimer once again(mainly for those new to my blog) about my "haiku". here

haiku or not haiku,
that is the question.
Who cares?

Carry on, even though I don't comment every time, I pop over whenever I can. Your slant on current affairs is always apt and always different.

If you keep this up Dave I shall have no need to read the Times for topical news and views!

Offenses are bad
enough without being
starkly illegal.

In ancient China, it was left to poets to gently remind their rulers when they had transgressed decency.

Do you suppose we could find even one American or Englishman would feel happy about any foreign force using unpiloted drones for surveillance and capturing suspects in our lands?

Thank you, Dave.

Double standards creating the hallmarks of today. Do as I say not as I do...that's a creative mind; so sad...

Dave, sometimes I feel so ineluctably non-English, I am not sure what "drone" means, a kind of fake?
Anyway I really enjoyed this haiku, or rather... I hope I have correctly enjoyed it.

And thank you for the comment on my post on "Rain", what you have written is in its own way a poem.

Thanks for the comments Friko. It's what I do - have to!
You likee drones or not likee Shadow?
Apparently they didn't get it licensed!
No Dan, I don't think they'd take that from anyone - not even a poet!
I like the association of double standards and hallmarks.
Sorry Tommaso, a drone is an unpiloted aircraft, controlled remotely from the ground.
Thanks all for your interest and support and for sticking with the legal.
