Haiku #141

As snow falls (again)
and temperatures come down
cheese is going up.

The rate at which you turn out these gems is quite amazing.

Dear Dave,

Thanks for your visit!! It's hard to keep up with all the great blogs out there, isn't it? I love your poetry and especially the haikus! I hope you don't really have snow anymore... Here, it's starting to get (too) warm.

If it's not one thing we have to worry about then it's something else!

I don't need an excuse
to be cheesy.

Now, I wonder what cheese this might be, Dave?! Haven't seen any cheesy headlines - well, not really.

How is it you're having a spring like the one here, many thousands of miles away? And cheese going up--like it, don't understand it, but like it.

Thanks everyone

Welcome Silke to my blog and thanks for commenting.
We don't have snow, but there was a news item reporting snow in Durham.

Another news item said that the weather was adversely affecting milk production, which would cause cheese to rise in price.

Thanks Helen

Might drop the election for a day or two - it's getting to be too easy. I like a challenge!!! Of course, if an absolute gift comes along...
