Words are being shortened and words are being abbreviated so much that all the learning we went through growing up no longer matters. So many people can only spell like they are texting.

Texting is a classic example of why we need to keep libraries open and real books out there because pretty soon people will forget how to spell or write correctly. As for the Little Black Dress it rocks.

Absolutely agree. I was thinking something similar a bit earlier, trying to decode the signs, symbols and runes that pass for instruction manuals these days and asking myself why I had spent all those years trying to teach youngsters to read words.
